I visited San Francisco’s City Hall where there were about six wedding ceremonies each hour. Action was everywhere. Couples were arriving with their guests, posing for their photographers, and enjoying special moments in the spotlight while stating their respective vows. Tourists, both guided and unguided, milled and mixed while snapping selfies.

The City Hall interior is stunning and has great natural lighting. The convergence of tourists and wedding parties brings about many unique photographic opportunities. Featured here is the documentary–style photo series I made to share the most interesting nuances, humor and decisive moments I observed during my short visit.
